Meet Lori Fylstra
Lori has always enjoyed spending time with and helping her elderly family members and friends. Over the past several years, Lori has been assisting her mother and in-laws navigate through the aging process. This has inspired her career as a daily money manager in addition to being the office manager for Fylstra & Fylstra, LLC.
Her first career was as the owner and floral designer for Annie Lori Designs. Her experience as a designer helped shape and influence her current role. In addition to owning her own business, Lori worked in commercial banking for over ten years. During her banking tenure, Lori navigated a variety of roles including teller and administrative assistant for the VP/ General Auditor. Lori also studied business administration at Montclair University. Lori currently volunteers as a member of the the Friends of the Holland Christian Home Foundation and is a member of the Association of Daily Money Managers, Hawthorne Chamber of Commerce, Hawthorne Rotary Club, The Alliance for Senior Services, and Bergen Health Alliance.
When Lori is not at the office she enjoys trying out new recipes for family and friends, reading, and listening to live music.
Meet Anne Ryan
Anne is a new addition to our team, but not new to the business. She comes to us with 35 years of experience, including her time as a controller at Poggen Pohl US, Inc. She has proficiency in QuickBooks, small businesses, and start-up accounting in addition to individual, corporate, and partnership tax preparation.
In her free time, you will find Anne volunteering and doing bookkeeping at St Joseph’s Home for the Elderly, where she spends time caring and visiting with elderly residents.
Meet James Fylstra
From a very young age, James has always had a keen sense of detail. This led him to study business administration and accounting at Seton Hall University. He proceeded to work for Deloitte Tax LLP, where he assisted Fortune 500 companies in calculating their Research & Development tax credit. In this demanding and fast-paced environment, James was able to earn his CPA license and further refine his ability to exceed expectations. In November 2016, with encouragement from family and friends, James decided to join his father at Fylstra & Fylstra, LLC to pursue an opportunity of working with his local community. When he’s not in the office, James enjoys playing bass guitar and piano, occasionally playing small gigs at local venues. He also enjoys golfing and running.

While working at that position, she was introduced to our family, and worked with us in a variety of ways over the last 25 years.
